About

Our Clinical Team

Our clinical staff members work closely with our doctors to provide you with the best possible care in the most comfortable setting possible.

Our practice is unique in that all of our dental assistants have completed formal, university-based training and are certified as expanded duty dental assistants.  In addition, for your safety, all of our dental assistants are certified and licensed by the State of Florida as dental radiographers.  As such, they have received formal training in how to take dental x-rays with the least amount of radiation exposure possible while providing us with exceptional diagnostic images.  Many of our staff members are also bilingual.

In order to maintain your teeth, gums, and implants properly, we have an oral soft tissue maintenance program managed by our dental hygienist.  The health of your gums is critical not only to the long-term survival of your teeth but to your overall health as well – numerous studies have shown a link between gum disease and cardiovascular disease.  An individually tailored maintenance program will be designed for you when you start your treatment.

In addition to routine cleanings, our dental hygienist will provide you with detailed oral hygiene instruction so that you can properly maintain your teeth, gums, and dental implants.

Our dental hygienist may place controlled release localized antibiotics (Arrestin) in certain areas under direction from our doctors.  Thorough cleaning along with this type of antibiotic can often resolve areas of periodontal inflammation and pocketing without the need for surgery.

Our Front Office Team

Your first contact with our office will be with our front office team members.  They will arrange for your appointments, coordinate your care, and handle payments and insurance.  While we do not directly participate in dental insurance plans, as a courtesy to you, we will submit your claim and supporting documentation to your insurance company for payment.  For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Care Credit as well as personal checks.

We realize that finances are an issue that can stand in the way between you and your smile.  We will work with you to create a payment plan that is mutually acceptable for all of us – just ask!
